Where have you been, under a rock? Haven’t you watched the news? You’ll never in a million years guess what happened to me today! You know my twin brother, Alex, right? No more math!” And I’m standing there on the lawn expecting to see a bunch of fire trucks and a puff of smoke somewhere but there in front of the school is the bomb squad! Are you kidding me? Are we in an episode of “Bruce Willis Saves the World”? I’m standing there gawking like every other kid wondering what the heck is going on when the head administrator marches over to me and brings me to the squad truck. And there sitting in the hand of a genuine bomb squad robot is my metronome…..
This is an excerpt/preview. You will be able to download the entire monologue once purchased.
